Syria. Ukraine. Iran?

It is no secret that in 2013 major things were going on in Syria, whether the United States news sources were giving us a full view of what was going on, is a different story. The same can be said with the issues going on in the Ukraine recently, the U.S. covers what it wants to cover when it comes to news. With the annexation of the Crimean peninsula as of just yesterday, the Ukraine may be out of the news for just a single moment. In that moment there has been talk of another possible major world news story. Israel is considering a possible military strike on Iran, despite what the United States says or feels about it. Israel plans to attack Iran solo if that's the way it has to be.

“Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Moshe Ya’alon have ordered the army to continue preparing for a possible military strike on Iran’s nuclear facilities at a cost of at least 10 billion shekels ($2.89 billion) this year, despite the talks between Iran and the West, according to recent statements by senior military officers.”

Would the average American News watcher/reader have heard about this? When searching for this topic there were dozens of articles but none posted by any "major" U.S. news source. It will be tough for U.S. news outlets to ignore this topic completely, but the real question is what kind of spin will they put on this?  An ally of the U.S. planning a strike with out the U.S.'s approval, they'll have to think of something. Is the U.S. government going to be tied to yet another crisis/war? I suppose we will have to wait and see how news sources will deliver this news.
